Year 7 enjoy their 'Animal Experience'
On Tuesday 13th July, as part of Year 7’s ‘drop-down’ day, we welcomed The Animal Experience once again to our school. Our students had a unique opportunity to learn about a wide variety of rare and endangered creatures within the safety of the classroom.
The selection of animals, including a meerkat, a royal python, a milk snake, an Argentine black and white tegu, a bearded dragon, a spiny leaf insect, and a common kestrel, allowed students an experience that they will never forget. Students learnt about the individual animals, their natural environments, the unique adaptations that allow them to survive, and related topics such as environmental issues and biodiversity.
