Student Leadership Training
On Wednesday, 17th November, our Student Leadership Team took part in an online training afternoon organised by Unloc and Christ the King Sixth Form College. It is a delight once again to work with Christ the King Sixth Form College; an important partnership with a Catholic post-16 provider in developing the potential of our senior students.
The focus of the training included; what it means to be a student leader; how to work together as a team; how to communicate effectively; how to utilise student voice; and how to successfully plan a project. They also heard from previous senior students about their experiences in their schools.
Our head students, their deputies, and student governors, were able to join student leaders from other schools in exploring the key issues in ensuring their year in office is as successful as possible.
Many thanks to Unloc’s Jessi Wilson for her leadership on the day.
