Student Leadership Training Event
Our Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy and Deputy Head Girl attended a leadership training event at Christ the King Sixth Form on Wednesday, 5th October. The student leaders participated in events such as: what it means to be a leader; how to be an effective leader in our school; how to communicate effectively; project planning; and tasks to help develop teamwork.
The event was facilitated by Uniloc, who focus on developing young potential. The student leadership team also met some St. Mary’s alumni who attend Christ the King Sixth Form. They spoke to them about their Post-16 journey and experience and also took part in a Chemistry experiment with Andrew and Rares (previous students) who are now studying A-Level Chemistry, Business and Computer Science.
Our student leaders had a great day and developed their leadership skills. Thank you to Christ the King Sixth Form for hosting the event and to Uniloc for their involvement in the event.
