St Mary's Rewarded for Attendance

St Mary’s is delighted to have been awarded the Fischer Family Trust (FFT) National School Attendance Award for the Spring Term 2023, placing us in the top 10% of similar secondary schools in England.

We are aware from ongoing media reporting that attendance has been a challenge nationally as schools return to normal following the pandemic. This award recognises the hard work that has taken place at our school to ensure that pupil’s attendance is given a high priority. We see that good attendance is essential to help pupils enjoy their learning, achieve highly and are safe.

Our school target for pupil attendance remains at 96%.
