On Tuesday, 19^th May, one of our Year 10 Business classes participated in an online meeting with Vanessa Lin, a graduate of the Queen’s Smith School of Business (Canada) and a current employee at Google in Toronto.

Vanessa shared insights into her career in marketing, which began in Canadian consumer goods advertising before progressing into brand management, eCommerce, and digital marketing. She also reflected on her professional journey and offered valuable advice for students considering careers in business or marketing.

The session provided students with meaningful real-world context, helping to bring their classroom learning to life and deepen their understanding of the topics they will continue to explore throughout the course.
