Open Evening welcomes Year 6 parents and pupils
On Tuesday, 5th October, St Mary’s was delighted to welcome prospective pupils and parents to our Open Evening. With the relaxation of COVID restrictions, it was wonderful to see so many take the opportunity to visit our school in person, to tour the school, chat with staff and pupils, and listen to a talk from Mr Shields, our Headteacher, along with the Head Girl and Boy.
St Mary’s staff and students were present throughout the open evening in each department area. They explained about the various subjects on offer at our school, ran demonstrations and experiments, and organised games and quizzes. It was clear, from the comments of the visitors that our students are extremely proud to be members of our school community. They are our greatest ambassadors.
While the Open Evening is the last formal admissions event this term, following the week of open mornings in late September, parents who would still like to visit St Mary’s Catholic High School before the deadline for submitting their admission forms should contact our school. Please call 202 8686 3837 to arrange a time to visit our school before Friday, 22nd October.
