Croydon Secondary Schools’ Cross-Country

Warmest congratulations to our Year 9, 10 and 11 pupils who represented St Mary’s in the annual Croydon Secondary Schools’ Cross-Country Race. The event, organised by the Croydon School Sports Partnership, took place on Monday, 6th October at Lloyd Park, with schools from across the London Borough of Croydon taking part. 

Ms Brown, who selected and accompanied the team, was delighted with the enthusiasm and determination our pupils showed throughout the event. While our runners did not take home the top prizes, every pupil completed the course—many achieving personal best times. For many of our pupils, this was their very first competitive cross-country race and their first opportunity to represent St Mary’s in an inter-school competition.
