• Friday 6 February 2026 Spes Nostra exchange pupils visit St Mary's Pupils from Spes Nostra Kuurne, a Catholic High School in Belgium, accompanied by their teachers, arrived on Tuesday, 3rd February.
• Friday 30 January 2026 St John Bosco House - Feast Day Celebration 2026 On Friday, 30 January, pupils and staff from St John Bosco House attended Holy Mass at St Mary’s Church, West Croydon, to mark the feast day of their patron saint.
• Wednesday 28 January 2026 Year 10 Science Fieldwork: Exploring Biodiversity in Beddington Park On Wednesday, 28th January, all Year 10 students embarked on an engaging day of science fieldwork at Beddington Park, Wallington. This experience offered pupils the chance to step out of the classroom and immerse themselves in practical scientific investigations, reinforcing curriculum topics such as biodiversity, sampling techniques, and data analysis.
• Tuesday 20 January 2026 Advent Collection Delivered to The Manna Society This week, members of our school community had the privilege of delivering the donations gathered through our Christmas Charity initiative to the Manna Society.

• Saturday 20 December 2025 Michaelmas Term 2025 - Awards and Celebrations Following the Christmas Liturgy, the highly anticipated end-of-term awards ceremony was held. Mr Shields led the proceedings, taking the opportunity to reflect on the considerable achievements of the school community during the past term.
• Friday 19 December 2025 Michaelmas Term Concludes with Christmas Liturgy The closing day of the Michaelmas term was commemorated by the entire school community gathering in the Sports Hall for a traditional Christmas Liturgy.
• Thursday 18 December 2025 Christmas Lunch at St Mary’s On the penultimate day of the Michaelmas Term as pupils enjoyed a wonderful Christmas Dinner and Jumper Day.

• Friday 21 November 2025 Year 11 Belgium Exchange From 18th–21st November, 14 Year 11 pupils, accompanied by Mrs Wheeler-Choudhury and Mr Saint-Prix, travelled to Belgium for the first half of a school exchange with Spes Nostra Kuurne School.

• Wednesday 22 October 2025 Year 7 Day of Recollection at St. George’s Cathedral As part of our Curriculum Enrichment Day, pupils deepened their understanding of faith, explored the life of St Oscar Romero, and took part in a special Mass celebrated by Archbishop John Wilson.

• Monday 6 October 2025 Croydon Secondary Schools’ Cross-Country Warmest congratulations to our Year 9, 10 and 11 pupils who represented St Mary's in the annual Croydon Secondary Schools' Cross-Country Race. The event, organised by the Croydon School Sports Partnership, took place on Monday, 6th October at Lloyd Park, with schools from across the London Borough of Croydon taking part. For many of our pupils, this was their very first competitive cross-country race and their first opportunity to represent St Mary's in an inter-school competition.
